Privacy — SF Platform

This page is a platform-specific supplement to the Solving Forces Privacy Policy. For your full rights under GDPR, retention windows for general business data, the supervisory authority, and contact information, see the main policy. This page covers what's specific to using the SF Platform.

What the platform stores

Beyond what's covered in the main Privacy Policy, the platform itself collects:

• Participant nickname. A self-chosen pseudonym you supply when joining a journey. This is what other participants and the leader see. Real name not requested or required.
• Submissions. Whatever you type into challenge prompts (text responses, selected radio options, etc.). Stored against your nickname for the duration of the journey.
• Leader account data. If you're a leader: username, hashed password (never stored in plaintext), display name. Content you create (exercises, journeys, sessions, challenges).

Cookies set by this platform

All cookies are strictly necessary (functional) — no consent banner required under ePrivacy. None are used for advertising or analytics.

• sf_session — leader login session, max 30 days.
• sf_participant — participant access token for a workshop, max 30 days.
• sf_mw_<code> — confirms you've entered the correct magic word for an invitation, max 30 minutes.

Retention specific to this platform

• Participant data (nicknames + submissions) — retained for the lifetime of the journey. When the leader deletes or archives the journey, participant data is removed.
• Audit log entries — retained per category: security events (logins, password resets, magic-word events) for 12 months; state-changing leader actions for 90 days; operational/diagnostic events for 30 days.
• Live presence data — pruned hourly; no data persists beyond the workshop's active period.
